Program Overview

The University of Maryland, Baltimore County's Physics B.S. program provides a comprehensive foundation in physics, including coursework in mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and optics. Students complete 73 credits, including 42 credits in physics courses, 25-26 credits in math and chemistry, and 6 credits in physics electives. The program also offers an Accelerated Bachelor's/Master's option for eligible students.
