Program Overview

The Emergency Health Services, B.S. program at UMBC prepares students for careers in emergency health services, including management and clinical roles. The program offers two concentrations: Management and Paramedic. Graduates are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and are prepared for diverse careers in the field.
