Program Overview

The Network Administration Certificate from UMBC provides students with the skills and knowledge to analyze, design, maintain, and administer networked-based information systems. The program includes required courses in data communications, network design, and internetworking, as well as additional courses in information systems security and LAN management. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in the IT industry or to advance their careers as network administrators, engineers, or security analysts.
