Program Overview

The Data Science Concentration within the Mathematics B.A. or B.S. program equips students with a foundation in statistics, mathematical computation, and data analysis. Through courses in mathematical computing, statistics, numerical analysis, and data science topics, students develop skills in data modeling, visualization, and problem-solving. This concentration prepares graduates for careers in data science, finance, insurance, and government, among other fields.
