Program Overview

This Bachelor's program prepares students to teach English Language Arts in middle schools (grades 4-8). It includes subject area coursework, professional education courses, field experiences, and student teaching. Graduates are eligible for certification in Middle-Level ELA, ESL, and SPED. The program also offers a coaching pathway and allows students to select a coaching pathway within the Middle-Level education concentration.
