Program Overview

The Counseling and Addiction Recovery Sciences program at Texas Tech University prepares students for careers in counseling, addiction counseling, and other human services fields. It emphasizes professional readiness, clinical skills, and service delivery, with a focus on family systems theory and addiction prevention, assessment, and treatment. The program offers two concentrations: Applied Relational Counseling and Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies.
