Program Overview

The University of Auckland's Master of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MTESOL) program enhances teachers' professional development in language teaching. It offers two program structures: taught courses only or taught courses with a dissertation. Graduates are qualified for careers in English language teaching, teacher training, and academia. The program also provides a pathway to doctoral studies.
