Program Overview
Master of Materials Engineering
The Master of Materials Engineering is a postgraduate program designed to equip students for employment in the rapidly growing field of Materials Engineering. This field challenges us to discover and design new materials by examining the structure, properties, and performance of basic resources that make up the world. Innovations in this space are often at the core of new technologies that change the way we live.
Programme Overview
The MMaterialsEng offers a balanced understanding of materials design, synthesis, and deployment, while cultivating management skills. The program combines taught courses with a core research course, allowing students to decide between a research project or a research portfolio of independent work. Industry is particularly looking for candidates willing to develop research projects or research portfolios that draw on Mori and Indigenous knowledge.
