Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Taught 120 points:

  • You must have completed a bachelors (honours) degree or postgraduate diploma in an IT-related field with a GPA of 4.5.
  • 75 points must be from courses above stage III, with at least 45 points 700 level, in an IT-related field.
  • Please note: If you already hold a masters degree in the same (or substantially similar) field of study, you may not be eligible for this programme.

Taught 180 points:

  • You must have completed a bachelors degree in an IT-related field with a GPA of 4.5.
  • 75 points must be from courses at Stage III or above, with at least 45 points in an IT-related field.
  • Please note: If you already hold a masters degree in the same (or substantially similar) field of study, you may not be eligible for this programme.

Taught 240 points:

  • You must have completed an undergraduate degree, in any discipline, at a recognised university (or similar institution) with a GPA of 4.5.
  • Relevant work experience may be considered.
  • You must have completed a one-year postgraduate study following your undergraduate degree with a GPE of 4.5 in an IT-related field.
  • You must have completed an English language test, such as IELTS or TOEFL, with a minimum score of 6.5.

Language Proficiency Requirements:


IELTS:

An overall score of 6.5 with no band below 6.0.


TOEFL:

A minimum score of 90 with no sub-score below 22.


PTE:

An overall score of 65 with no communicative skills score below 55.


Other Pathways to Study:

  • Alternatively, you can gain entry to the 180-point masters if you have completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology with a GPA of 4.5 or higher.
