Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons): 5.0 GPA in 120 points of courses above stage III
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce: 5.0 GPA
  • Bachelor of Science with 5.0 GPA in 75 points above stage II + Postgraduate Diploma in Science with a GPA of 5.0:
  • Bachelor of Commerce with a GPA of 5.0 in 75 points above stage II + Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce with a GPA of 5.0

International Students:

  • Four-year engineering degree:
  • Broad coverage in the first year of foundational science topics (mathematical modelling, chemical and materials science, electrical engineering theory, mechanics, programming, and engineering design)
  • One year of postgraduate-level study
  • Research project or dissertation (at least one-quarter of the final year)
  • One year of postgraduate study following an undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or business:

  • Four-year bachelors degree or postgraduate study in science or commerce
