About your course

MSc Financial Management is suitable for students from a range of non-finance and non-accounting backgrounds.

The course is designed to provide you with competencies and technical skills in financial management. In particular, you will develop and apply their decision-making skills to complex situations.

Teaching and learning

Teaching

You'll attend lectures and take part in seminars and workshops to explore concepts and issues. You'll also work on problem-solving exercises and case studies, and use a variety of media and online tools to engage with resources, quizzes and learning materials.

Entry Requirements

Qualifications

We welcome your application regardless of your background or experience.

For this course, ideally, we are looking for:

• A 2:2 honours degree, or equivalent qualification, in an appropriate subject, or
• A minimum of three years' relevant work experience and the ability to study at postgraduate level.

Fees and funding

Fees

The fees below are for the 2025/26 academic year:

• UK students: £12,800 (full-time), £85 per credit (part-time), £42 per dissertation credit (part-time)
• International students: £18,000 (full-time), £120 per credit (part-time), £60 per dissertation credit (part-time)
