Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

For the Bachelor of Applied Management (Agribusiness Management major) program, students must meet the following entry requirements:


New Zealand Domestic Students:

  • National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3 with 48 credits at Level 3 or higher, including:
  • 14 credits in English Level 3
  • 14 credits in Mathematics OR 14 credits in Literacy
  • 14 credits in a science subject
  • 6 credits in a Social Studies subject
  • Alternatively, students may present:
  • As a general guideline, students should present an equivalent qualification that includes:
  • Mathematics or a numeracy-based subject
  • A science subject
  • A humanities or social sciences subject
  • IELTS:
  • Achieving a minimum overall score of 6.0 with no band score less than 5.5.
  • TOEFL iBT:
  • Achieving a minimum overall score of 79 with minimum scores of 18 in Reading, 18 in Listening, 17 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing.
  • PTE Academic:
  • Achieving a minimum overall score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50.
