Overview:

The New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 6) (Administration and Technology strand) develops your technical knowledge and skills relevant to administration and technology roles within an organisation. This qualification builds on from the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Level 5) (Administration and Technology strand).


Objectives:

  • Graduates will gain core knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the achievement of organisational strategic objectives.
  • Graduates will gain specific knowledge and skills to apply to a relevant administrative position in an organisation.

Program Description:

The program focuses on the application of principles and practices of operations, management accounting, marketing/sales, human resources, and risk management to support strategic objectives of a business entity. Additionally, graduates will learn:

  • Plan and manage internal business administrative systems, processes, and technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve business processes and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage change in administration and/or technology contexts to support the entity’s strategic goals.
