Entry Requirements:
- Completion of the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 2, with a minimum of 18 credits in English language or communication, and 18 credits in mathematics.
- Alternatively, completion of an equivalent qualification, such as the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), or a vocational qualification, as determined by SIT.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Non-native speakers of English are required to demonstrate English language proficiency equivalent to IELTS 5.5 or higher, with no band score lower than 5.0.
- Other accepted English language tests include TOEFL, the Pearson Test of English (PTE), or the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) examination.
- Students who have completed their secondary education in a predominantly English-speaking country may be exempt from the English language proficiency requirement.
- International students are also required to demonstrate evidence of financial resources to support their living expenses and tuition fees for the duration of their studies.
- Students who require a student visa may also need to meet additional requirements, such as providing health insurance and evidence of their academic qualifications.
