Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Students:

  • School Leavers: NCEA Level 3 with 48 credits at Achievement or higher, including 14 credits in each of two approved subjects, and 10 credits in literacy.
  • Mature Students (20 years or older): Applicants who do not meet the school leaver entry requirements may be considered on the basis of relevant work experience, life experience, or other qualifications.

International Students:

  • Academic Qualifications: Completion of an equivalent overseas qualification to NCEA Level 3, with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Applicants from countries where the official language is not English must also meet the English language proficiency requirements outlined below.
  • English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent in order to be eligible for admission.
