Program Overview

The University of Albany's Master of Social Work/Master of Public Health program prepares individuals for administrative roles in health care and social services organizations. The program combines the MSW with a concentration in macro social work and the MPH with a focus on health policy and management. Graduates gain skills in social services management, advocacy, community building, resource development, outcomes evaluation, public health legislation, and service delivery methods. The program is approved for licensure or certification in New York State and allows for faster completion by counting credits towards both degrees.
