Overview
The Certificate of Graduate Study in International Education Management is a 12-credit, fully online program that provides students with the administrative knowledge and planning skills necessary to create diverse opportunities for students to travel and experience cultures around the world.
Program of Study
To earn this certificate, students must complete the following three graduate courses:
- Introduction to International Education Management: Survey institutional strategy, program development, curricular internationalization, cross-border mobility and articulation, transnational delivery and branch campuses, research consortia, and alumni development.
- Administration of Institutions of Higher Education: Study internal organizational patterns and the roles of trustees, administrative personnel, and faculties. Learn how teaching, research, criticism, and sanctions impact different institutional goals.
- Higher Education Finance: Analyze financial management in U.S. higher education institutions. Topics include investment-based decision making, benefits and costs estimation, and alternative private and public financing.
