Financial Analyst Honors Program

The financial analyst concentration for business administration majors allows you to share an integrated educational experience with a small group of motivated students who have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher.


  • Work with a mentor selected for you by finance faculty and the Office of Student Services.
  • Be trained by Wall Street experts in a semester-long financial analysis boot camp.
  • Interview for the opportunity to join the student-run University at Albany School of Business Investment Group (UASBIG).
  • Participate in the annual Adirondack Cup student stock portfolio contest.
  • Compete in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute equity research challenge.
