Year 1 core modules
- Business Administration and Finance
- You gain an understanding of company formation and reporting requirements in the UK. Explore accounting concepts relevant for business owners, financing and funding options, financial planning and how to increase profitability.
- Business Planning
- You explore the process of conceptualising, developing and presenting a comprehensive business plan. This hands-on experience creates critical skills in competitive analysis, planning and business strategy formulation. Gain practical insights into business management and implement your plans in real-world scenarios.
- Enterprise and Innovation
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of enterprise and innovation, exploring entrepreneurial concepts, startup essentials and strategies for business success. Identify opportunities and learn how to cultivate an innovative mindset. You also focus on scaling ventures and adapting to an evolving business landscape, working individually to develop an innovative business idea. You also get the opportunity to hear from and question experienced external practitioners.

A typical offer is 64 tariff points from at least two A levels (or equivalent).
We welcome applications from mature students without conventional entry requirements and can consider alternative qualifications or other experience you may have.
