Course Structure

The course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of climate change and sustainable economic development. Students will learn about the fundamental processes that drive the earth's climate system, the human impact on the current and future climate, and the scientific basis for attributing climate change to human activities.


How You Learn

You will learn through a range of methods including lectures, practical exercises, film-making, and research seminars. You will discuss real climate change-related challenges faced by businesses across the globe and work individually and in groups to solve research questions from ongoing projects at Teesside University.


How You Are Assessed

Assessment methods are varied and include essays, business carbon accounting, fieldwork reports, poster presentations, group presentations, short projects with stakeholders, filmmaking, and your final dissertation.
