Program Overview

The BDes in Graphic Design at UIC is a comprehensive program that equips students with the skills and knowledge to excel in visual communication. Through hands-on projects, rigorous coursework, and collaborative studios, students develop expertise in typography, digital media design, design history, and professional practice, preparing them for diverse careers in graphic design, UX design, branding, and more. The program emphasizes a flexible approach, allowing students to customize their studies with electives outside the School of Design.
