Program Overview

The Chemistry with Year in Industry (MChem) program at Cardiff University provides students with an advanced degree in chemistry, significant research experience, and hands-on industry experience through a paid work placement. The program emphasizes research throughout, culminating in a final-year research project, and offers opportunities for co-authoring publications with staff. Graduates are eligible for full membership to the Royal Society of Chemistry and may apply for the title of Chartered Chemist.
