Program Overview

The MSc and PG Dip in Structural Molecular Biology at Birkbeck provide expertise in protein and cellular structural analysis. The program combines online and on-campus teaching, covering topics such as protein structure, membrane function, and molecular recognition. Students develop research skills and have the opportunity to conduct an independent research project (for MSc students). The program prepares graduates for careers in research, science writing, teaching, and other fields.
