- UK GoC registered Optometrists
- Other eye care professional, including:
- Dispensing opticians
- Ophthalmologists
- Orthoptists
- Vision scientists (researchers who specialize in the vision and the visual system)
Language Proficiency Requirements:

- IELTS 6.0 with no section lower than 5.5
- PTE Academic 38 overall and 80 in Listening or Writing
- TOEFL iBT 89 overall score with a minimum sub-score of 21 in speaking
- Cambridge English Advanced , with a pass at grade A and a minimum sub-score of 41 in use of English, 31 in reading and writing, and with no other test component scoring less than 31
- GCSE and IGCSE: grades equivalent to an IELTS overall band, speaking band of C
