Building Information Modelling (BIM) Specialist


Degree Overview:

This short, flexible program is designed with the intention of helping students of all skill levels quickly become proficient in Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflows. It complements existing learning by providing hands-on experience.


Objectives:

  • Understand the fundamental principles behind BIM and the value it offers during design, construction, and operation phases.
  • Interpret requirements from stakeholders, understand BIM ISO 19650 standards, and grasp associated processes & technologies.
  • Utilize BIM processes to develop project appraisals for design, construction, and operation with the aid of software tools.

Program Description:

  • Blended format, incorporating virtual sessions and independent online learning through a dedicated virtual learning environment (VLE).
  • Total duration: 150 hours, encompassing online lectures, workshops, and group exercises for applying acquired skills and knowledge to practical scenarios relevant to individual professions and industries.
