Program Overview

The Medical Laboratory Assistant program equips students with the skills and knowledge to perform pre-analysis tasks in medical laboratories. Graduates are trained in blood sample collection, ECG operation, laboratory equipment handling, and medical terminology. The program emphasizes communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and prepares graduates to sit for the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) examinations.
