Program Overview

Conestoga College's Motive Power Technician - Automotive Service program provides Level 1 and 2 apprenticeship training equivalencies with an emphasis on hands-on learning. The two-year program covers topics like electric hybrids, failure analysis, and electrical diagnostics and repair. Graduates may receive exemption from the Level 1 and 2 portions of the Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship in-school training and can pursue careers as automotive service technicians or in alternative industry roles such as business development and customer service.
