Protection, Security and Investigation Program Entry Requirements:
Entry Requirements:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six 4U/M courses, including:
- Grade 12 English (ENG4U or equivalent)
- Grade 12 Mathematics (MDM4U, MCR3U, MTH4U, or equivalent)
- Grade 12 Social Sciences and Humanities (HSB4U, HHS4U, or equivalent)
- Three additional 4U/M courses in any subject
- Mature Applicant: Applicants without a high school diploma who are at least 19 years of age by September 1st of the year of entry may be considered for admission based on life experience and prior learning.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English through one of the following:
- A minimum score of 6.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test
- A minimum score of 80 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT
- A minimum score of 58 on the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic
- Completion of a recognized English as a Second Language (ESL) program at a Canadian institution
- A minimum grade of 70% in a Grade 12 English course from a recognized Canadian high school
- Applicants with a strong academic record and demonstrated interest in the field of protection, security, and investigations are encouraged to apply.
- The program is highly competitive, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.
