Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


Domestic Applicants:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including:
  • Four grade 12 U or M courses, including:
  • English (ENG4U or ENG4M)
  • Mathematics (MDM4U, MCR3U, MCV4U, MCF3M, or MTH4U)
  • A Grade 12 College (C) or University (U) level science course
  • A Grade 12 College (C) or University (U) level technology course
  • An additional grade 12 U or M course in any subject

International Applicants:

  • Completion of secondary school studies equivalent to an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
  • Minimum average of 70% in the final year of secondary school
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Applicants who have not achieved the required English language proficiency can be admitted into the International Pathways Program (IPP) in Conestoga College.

Mature Applicants:

  • Applicants who are 19 years of age or older and do not have a high school diploma may be eligible for admission based on life experience and academic achievements.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency.
  • Accepted English language proficiency tests include:
  • IELTS Academic with a minimum overall score of 6.5 and a minimum score of 6.0 in each band
  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum overall score of 88 and a minimum score of 20 in each section
  • CAEL with a minimum overall score of 70 and a minimum score of 60 in each band
  • PTE Academic with a minimum overall score of 61 and a minimum score of 59 in each section
  • Duolingo English Test with a minimum overall score of 105 and a minimum score of 100 in each skill area

Additional Notes:

  • Applicants with relevant work experience may be considered for advanced standing in the program.
