Program Overview

The Construction Techniques (Carpentry) program at Conestoga College is a one-year, full-time Ontario College Certificate program that develops carpentry skills for residential and light-commercial building construction. The program includes general and specific safety training, as well as skills development in various construction areas. Graduates may qualify for direct entry into the second year of the Carpentry and Renovation Technician diploma program.
