Overview

This program provides an understanding of human anatomy and physiology at a level required for clinical medicine. Graduates of the program will be able to relate basic science knowledge to clinical scenarios and will be prepared to develop instructional and assessment plans utilizing best practices and appropriate pedagogy for learners at the secondary and post-secondary levels.

Classes

Earn a Master’s Degree with Just a Few Additional Classes

The 18-credit certificate program can be used as a track to an MSEd or MHSc at Shenandoah University.

Application Information

Program Prerequisites

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of 4 full semester courses (12-16 credits) in biology, chemistry, and/or physics OR completion of a previous health professions or master’s program in biological or health sciences.

Application Requirements

• Complete a graduate application for admission.
• Provide additional transcripts from all institutions of higher education previously attended.
• Provide one letter of recommendation.
