Athletic Training Articulation Agreements
Shenandoah University Division of Athletic Training has established articulation agreements with two University partners. Articulation agreements are designed to build strong partnerships between undergraduate institutions and our Master of Science in Athletic Training program. These agreements provide a simplified, guaranteed admissions process for a limited number of undergraduate students from the partner institutions.

Master of Science in Athletic Training
- The Master of Science in Athletic Training program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in athletic training.
- The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
Master of Science in Athletic Training & Master of Public Health
- The Master of Science in Athletic Training & Master of Public Health dual degree program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in athletic training and public health.
- The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) and the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH).
Performing Arts Medicine Certificate
- The Performing Arts Medicine Certificate program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in performing arts medicine.
- The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
Performing Arts Health & Fitness Certificate
- The Performing Arts Health & Fitness Certificate program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in performing arts health and fitness.
- The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
DPT & MSAT Dual Degree
- The DPT & MSAT Dual Degree program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in physical therapy and athletic training.
- The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE).
Athletic Training Facilities
- Shenandoah University has state-of-the-art athletic training facilities, including a human anatomy laboratory and a sports medicine clinic.

Admissions
- The Master of Science in Athletic Training program has a competitive admissions process.
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Applicants must also have completed prerequisite coursework in anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
Athletic Training Faculty & Medical Training Staff
- The Athletic Training program has a faculty of experienced athletic trainers and medical professionals.
- The program also has a medical training staff that includes physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
AT Early Assurance Pathway
- The AT Early Assurance Pathway is a program that allows undergraduate students to apply to the Master of Science in Athletic Training program early.
- Students who are accepted into the program are guaranteed admission to the Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
