Program Overview
Dual MBA / MSN Program
The Dual Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at Jacksonville University combines the foundations of business with advanced-level nursing courses. This innovative program is designed for nurses interested in executive-level management careers and can be completed online or in a hybrid format.
Program Overview
The Dual MBA / MSN program creates a unique blend of business and healthcare knowledge, preparing students for leadership roles in the healthcare industry. With classes beginning every 8 weeks, students can complete the program at their own pace.
Admissions Requirements
To be considered for admission, applicants must submit the following documents:
- Completed application
- Resume / Curriculum Vitae (if applying to Nurse Practitioner track)
- Statement of Intent
- Graduation from a regionally accredited program and CCNE, NLN, or ACEN accredited program
- A minimum 3.0 undergraduate nursing GPA on a 4.0 scale is required
- Unofficial Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended with All Nursing Coursework & Nursing Degrees
- If the candidate attended a college or university abroad, an official NACES evaluation of that transcript is required. Choose the course-by-course evaluation with the GPA option.
- Active U.S. Nursing License
- Out-of-state applicants must be eligible for endorsement in Florida.
- International students must hold a current license from a U.S. state and be eligible for endorsement in Florida.
Additional Requirements for International Students
All international students whose first language is not English are required to submit proof of their proficiency in English, by providing scores for either:
- IELTS
- TOEFL If submitting score reports, they must be sent directly to Jacksonville University from the testing institutions.
