Entry Requirements:


EU Home Students:

  • Completed JU application
  • Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or Movement Science preferred
  • If the major is unrelated, students will need prior Kinesiological, Exercise Science, or Movement Science experience or enroll in an Anatomy and Physiology/Exercise Physiology-related course before or concurrently with the MS in Exercise Science program

  • 3.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0 preferred
  • Below 3.0 GPA potential additional requests:

  • 2 Letters of Reference

International Overseas Students:

  • Same requirements as EU Home Students
  • Proof of English proficiency meeting JU’s minimum requirements (see Language Proficiency Requirements)

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 79
  • IELTS: minimum overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score lower than 6.0
  • PTE Academic: minimum score of 53 with no sub-score lower than 50
  • Duolingo English Test: minimum score of 105
