Course Structure
What you will learn
Learning will focus on clinical supervision; monitoring, evaluation and quality control; personal action for quality improvement; education and development. A portfolio of evidence will be developed around the four main learning topics. The portfolio will be supported by completion of a work-based learning competency profile.
Teaching & Assessment
How you will learn
You will learn through multiple methods of teaching, experiences, and the use of available resources to support independent learning. Within your workplace you will require a practice supervisor who should be a current professional nursing advocate and you must have the opportunity to observe and engage in a range of A-EQUIP related activities.
How you will be assessed
Formative assessment is by tutor-led activity reflective writing.
Summative assessment provides the opportunity to demonstrate that you have met the learning outcomes for the module by development of a 3,000 word portfolio and a practical skills assessment which requires submission of a competency profile.
