Program Overview


Module - Coaching and Mentoring

The aim of the module is to develop the knowledge and skills needed by those who are, and who aspire to be coaches and/or mentors within an organisational context by engagement with relevant coaching and mentoring literature and skills development.


Working closely with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), the team currently deliver professional coaching qualifications for managers and coaches, senior managers, leaders and professional coaches at level 7. Our coaching and mentoring offer is ideal for:


  • Organisations looking to develop a coaching culture
  • Individual managers and leaders who want to develop essential coaching skills

Entry Requirements

  • 1st or 2nd class honours degree
  • Students with other qualifications may be admitted to the course at the discretion of the programme leader
  • All applicants must complete a pre-entry study skills package such as “preparing for postgraduate study” if they are new to this level of study or have had a break from study for a period of 4 years

Outline:

The program runs over one semester. There will be 3 workshops on this module by distance learning "live" via blackboard collaborate or teams. This module is mapped to the ILM qualification and there will be an additional workshop for those studying for dual accreditation.
