Program Overview

This Learning Disability Nursing BN (Hons) program prepares students to become registered nurses specializing in the holistic care of individuals with learning disabilities. The program emphasizes partnership with individuals and their families, promoting person-centered care and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as Learning Disability nurses. The program includes a range of assessment methods, diverse teaching methods, and practice learning placements to provide students with a comprehensive and practical education.
