Overview
Wichita State's graduate certificate in computational data science is designed for students with backgrounds in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other related fields. This program provides a strong understanding of fundamental data science principles and their application, as well as in-depth knowledge of data science tools, analytical workflows, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling.
Curriculum
The 12-credit-hour certificate comprises courses in the areas of:
- Data science
- Machine learning
- Database systems
- Artificial intelligence
- Deep learning
- Data mining
Admission to the Program
There are two paths to admission to the program:
- For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
- Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
