Undergraduate Certificate in Filmmaking

Overview

Wichita State’s undergraduate certificate in filmmaking combines creativity with hands-on learning in a technology-rich environment. Students gain essential knowledge and techniques—from editing to video storytelling—and build qualifications for career success in a variety of creative settings.


Curriculum

To complete the 15-credit-hour undergraduate certificate, students take the following courses:


  • Editing for Film
  • Principles of Video Production
  • Video Storytelling
  • Two of the following:
    • Cinematography
    • Directing I
    • Scriptwriting I

Program Details
