Overview
Wichita State’s undergraduate certificate in game design combines creativity with hands-on learning in a technology-rich environment. Students gain essential knowledge and techniques—from computer modeling to coding—and build qualifications for career success in a variety of game-related settings.
Curriculum
To complete the 15-credit-hour undergraduate certificate, students take the following courses:
- Computer Modeling
- Game Design Concepts
- Game Design I
- Coding
- One of the following: Game Design II, Animation I, Coding II, or ARTS 240 Life Drawing.
Program Details
Game design students learn how to work with a team to design characters, levels, and storylines. The program provides a supportive community that keeps students motivated and engaged throughout their studies.
