The accelerated Bachelor of Science (BS) in health management to Master of Health Administration (MHA) is ideal for undergraduate health management students interested in planning and directing the delivery of health services and seeking advanced career opportunities in healthcare administration. Student Group Works to Improve Public Health During the Pandemic

Public health science students collaborated with campus organizations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Senior capstone students worked with Student Health Services during the fall semester on mitigation strategies. In the spring, students created a WSU Partner Point of Delivery (POD) plan for distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to students and faculty, and developed peer-to-peer multilingual vaccine information videos.

Students celebrate National Public Health Week annually by volunteering in the community and displaying health educational materials around campus.

Curriculum

Students admitted to the accelerated program may enroll in courses for graduate credit (up to nine credit hours) while simultaneously completing their undergraduate degree requirements.
