Overview
Wichita State's undergraduate certificate in stage management provides students with the knowledge and hands-on training needed to work in commercial and regional theatre. The program covers a variety of artistic skills and valuable management tools essential for successful careers in touring productions, dance, opera, event management, and more.
Curriculum
To complete the 15-credit-hour certificate, students will take the following courses:

Program Details
Theatre students at WSU have many opportunities to showcase their talents on a big stage. The program provides a supportive community that keeps students motivated and offers valuable experience.
Student Achievements
A student playwright received national honors for their original play, "States of Happiness," which won the WSU Playwriting Competition and was chosen for a regional performance in Iowa. The play was then honored as one of only 10 distinguished productions in the nation by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Washington, D.C.
