Overview

The Superintendency / District Leadership graduate certificate from Wichita State helps practicing education professionals gain skills and knowledge for successful careers as school superintendents, special education directors or district-level leaders.

Curriculum

The district program requires 18 credit hours of coursework. Applicants are encouraged to contact the program coordinator to find out if previous professional experiences might be able to reduce the number of courses required to complete this program.

Admission to the Program

There are two paths to admission to the program:

• For those already enrolled in graduate school, simply complete the Declaration of Intent to Pursue a Certificate Form.
• Prospective students should apply using the Graduate School application for admission.
