Program Overview
American Studies is an interdisciplinary program that explores the history, culture, and institutions of the United States through the lens of various disciplines, including literature, history, and sociology. Majors can choose from concentrations in Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, Material Culture and the Built Environment, Politics, Institutions and Values, Popular Culture and Media Studies, or Social and Literary Movements.
