Program Overview

The MEd in Secondary Education with a World Languages Education track prepares teachers to meet the needs of world languages and dual language classrooms. The program emphasizes advanced knowledge and skills, including specialized courses in teaching language minority students, applied linguistics in ESOL, and curriculum development for dual language programs. Students engage in an action research study and complete a capstone experience to demonstrate their proficiency in the field.
