Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Environmental Justice explores the intersection of environmental issues and social justice, examining the disproportionate impact of environmental change on disadvantaged communities. The program equips students with a critical understanding of environmental issues and prepares them for careers in public policy, international relations, environmental advocacy, and environmental research. It requires 12 graduate credit hours, with at least 50% of coursework at the 700 level or above.
