Program Overview

LSU Health's "3 plus 1" program in Clinical Laboratory Science allows students to complete three years of prerequisite coursework at LSU before transferring to LSU Health for their final year of study. Students must maintain a minimum GPA and earn "C" or better in critical courses. The program includes prerequisite courses in English, chemistry, biology, and other areas, preparing students for a career in medical technology.
