Program Overview

Students can choose between a general Spanish major or a secondary education track with a Spanish concentration. The program requires a minimum of 33 hours of Spanish coursework above the intermediate level, including core courses in grammar, composition, literature, and linguistics. Graduates are prepared for careers in education, translation, interpretation, and other fields requiring Spanish language proficiency.
