Program Overview

The Art History M.A. The 30-credit program includes a thesis, 12 hours of 7000-level coursework, and a primary area of study with a minimum of 9 hours. Students must also pass a comprehensive written exam and defend their thesis orally. The program prepares graduates for careers in museums, galleries, universities, and other institutions where knowledge of art history is valued.
