Program Overview

The PhD program in Civil Engineering requires coursework, a qualifying exam, a general exam, a dissertation, and a final exam. Students with a bachelor's degree must complete 42 credit hours, while those with a master's degree must complete 18 credit hours. Some concentrations may have additional core course requirements.
